I found a couple of photos of North Ballaird farmhouse on your website. Members of the family I am researching lived and farmed at North Ballaird and South Ballaird from at least 1841. Am I correct in assuming that the house in the photos is the original farmhouse (with with perhaps some additions or modifications) that was there when my family lived in the area? I would be interested in anything that you can tell me about the history of the farm. I assume that my folk would have been tenant farmers back when they were there but know no details of this. I have no idea as to what type of farming they may have been involved in on the property. Anything you can tell me would be of great interest.
